Hottest new men’s sneakers of 2016

New sneakers with street cred

Sneakers are an ever-growing trend, but it can be hard to keep track of the latest available designs. Classics, such as Nike?s Air Force Ones, never go out of style, but sometimes you want something new and devastatingly trendy. This is your guide to newly released sneakers which become instant hits. While these designs may not become mainstays of your sneaker collection, they are certainly hot right now and compatible with current streetwear trends.

Adidas Tubular collection

The Tubular collection by Adidas features are sleek yet textured. The current collection is monochromatic, which is very on-trend of 2016. Much of the Tubular collection is reminiscent of Yeezy Boosts, though a little less head-turning. The Tubular Radial is a great everyday choice, with the black being a fresh alternative to Nike Frees. For the ultimate in street style, go for the Tubular Doom, which features clean lines and a high cut ankle.

Nike Lunar Caldra

Nike has been at the height of sneaker trends for a few years now, with their Free and Roshe designs representing understated style. Get a fresher look by switching to the Lunar Caldra, which has only been available since late December last year. The Lunar Caldra design is suitable for light exercise as well as for exhibiting your refined sense of street style, with its low profile and lightweight construction. It brings color back into sneakers, with nine different color combinations available. The metallic gold, which features black and white accents, is striking as much as it is functional.

TCG Porter

The relatively new brand TCG is kicking goals in terms of everyday footwear. With a great selection of basics divided into low, mid, and high top collections, TCG will make you forget all about your Chuck Taylors. Their high-top design known as The Porter is a minimalist shoe that uses contrast between materials rather than between colors, such as having two different types of leather. With thin laces and no logos, TCG?s Porter sneakers fit well with the current fashions.

Reebok ZPrint Run

Reebok designed ZPrint with performance in mind, but it is hard to believe this show was not made for the aesthetic. With a low profile and knitted materials, the ZPrint has jumped on the trend started by the Nike Flyknit shoe. Go for the more unobtrusive colors such as grey or black, with monochrome accents, for a trendy look. For those partial to bright colors, it is also available in vibrant shades such as blue, peach, and red. The ZPrint is fairly affordable compared to its competitors, but still looks fantastic. The ZPrint Run Ex is also worth considering. It boasts more functional features than the basic model, and does not include the knit webbing on the sides of the feet, which some may find unappealing.
