10 Ways to Make Time for Exercise — Even When You Don’t Have Time
As our lives become increasingly complex, time slowly disappears. You know the feeling, too many tasks, jobs, responsibilities, hobbies, plans and who knows what else. It’s not that we don’t enjoy what we do — hopefully — there just isn’t much time left to take up anything new, unfortunately that includes exercise.
Wouldn’t it be great if there a way to fit in some time for fitness? Well, there might be. Even the busiest of schedules has little spaces and gaps, and while they might not be enough to get to a gym or even change into proper attires, there are ways for us to get more out of our days. An article on the Huffington Post details how:
Take regular walks around your neighborhood. If your children are young, load them up in a stroller or wagon. If they’re a little older, let them ride bikes while you walk. And if they’re old enough to stay home alone, take a walk with your husband or a friend. Do it regularly, and it will become one of your favorite activities. My husband and I used to walk a circuit around our property and our neighbor’s property every evening while our boys played outside. We just kept circling for about 30 minutes, which sounds boring, but it became a great time for us to talk and spend time together uninterrupted.
If you want to workout, you can find a way. It might take effort, it might take some negotiation, but it can be done. Take a look at the full article for all 10 tips.
