The four Tinder profile mistakes she hates
Popular dating and hook up app Tinder matches you up with other singles that like the look of your profile. You set the radius, so you only get matched up with those who are close by. Sounds simple enough, but some guys do not seem to get much luck on Tinder despite the seemingly endless users.
No single shots
In every photo, you are pictured with a group of mates. How is she supposed to know which one you are? When presented with a catalogue of people, few women are going to make the effort to work out which one in the group you are. Plus, it always seems to be that the ugliest guy in the group shot is the profile owner. It is crucial to have at least one photo of you by yourself. Some women really hate self-taken photographs, so to maximise your swipes, go for a photo that was taken by someone else. Also, some guys only have photos of themselves with other women. In this case, it should be fairly obvious who the profile owner is, but it is still better form to have at least one photograph with nobody else in it.
Not writing a bio
Unless you have the body of a Greek god, you cannot get away with not writing something about yourself. String together a few sentences about yourself and what you enjoy doing. It?s great if you can also put something witty in your description, but that should not be the only thing. Putting a pick-up line as your description, with no information about you as a person, is a huge turn-off. The whole point is to introduce yourself in your bio. If you are incapable of writing anything, then you are unlikely to be an interesting person and you will inevitably get fewer matches.
Writing your life story
She does not need to know your birthplace, middle name, ancestry, what you had for breakfast and where you went to school. You may find these facts about yourself a great source of pride, but nobody else cares. The only time you should write your ethnicity is when you are looking to date others from a similar background. I am still puzzled as to why some guys decide to advertise their middle name. You should definitely put some interesting facts about yourself in your bio, but get a trusted friend to read through it to check that it would be interesting to others. Also be aware of not writing far too much, as nobody will be bothered reading it.
Song lyrics in your bio
A snippet of a song from the current top 40 pop singles is not doing your profile any favours. It is unoriginal. You might think it presents you as mysterious and sensitive, but actually it makes you come across as uninspired and too boring to be able to fill in a real profile.
