Top Five Movies of Elisabeth Moss

I can?t imagine what it would be like to be Lisa Kudrow or Kate Jackson. However, in every group of three, one has to be last and in ?Friends? and ?Charlie?s Angels? (the original), it would be tough to stand up to Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Jaclyn Smith and Farrah Fawcett. It doesn?t matter how pretty a woman is, someone is always going to rank third, even if that ranking is still better than most everyone else in the world. (I think one of the toughest rankings of all time would be that of Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe and Lauren Bacall in ?How to Marry a Millionaire.? Ask me today and I think I?d have to rank Betty last, but I?m sure I?d never hear the end of it from Animal.)

Today though there is another triumvirate with nary a nag in the bunch on ?Mad Men? and the subject for today concerns the third, Elisabeth Moss. (If you want to instead read about Christina Hendricks or January Jones, just check the archives, they?re covered a plenty of their lack of, ahem, coverage.) I can imagine that there are people that might not have Elisabeth as third on their list, I mean anything is possible, but I think just about any actress out there would have a problem cracking that top two, so Elisabeth is not alone. However, only one of those three has a current movie written by Beat Poet Jack Kerouac that co-stars Kristen Stewart, and that?s Elisabeth. To celebrate that movie, here are five other movies that star that wonderful third of the ladies of ?Mad Men.?

5. Temptation

I?ll admit there are just three words and an initial that have me incredibly intrigued about this movie. The first word: porn. The initial and other two words: H. Jon Benjamin (voice star of ?Archer,? ?Lucy: The Daughter of the Devil? and ?Bob?s Burgers? as well as star of ?Jon Benjamin Has a Van.?) I just want to see how those two things play out because I figure it has to be close to the danger zone.

4. A Thousand Acres

The description from IMDB is simple: ??King Lear? set on a farm in Iowa.? That, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jessica Lange, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michelle Williams and Elisabeth is enough for me. (Maybe that?s a lot that I need, but I just love women.)

3. The Last Supper

This movie is a favorite of my youth, however it?s so weird to think of what these actors bring to mind nowadays. Jonathan Penner means ?Survivor,? Courtney B. Vance means ?Law and Order: Criminal Intent,? Annabeth Gish means ?The X-Files? and Ron Eldard is now in my brain with ?Super 8.?

2. Mumford

Maybe it?s Kevin Smith and the magic immaturity of ?Mallrats,? but I?ve always had a soft spot in my heart for Jason Lee. It didn?t hurt that he was my first celebrity sighting at a Baja Fresh in Hollywood.

1. Girl, Interrupted

I?ve covered this one at number three for Winona Ryder and number one for Angelina Jolie, so it makes sense to rank high for Elisabeth as well.
