Must-Read: Olivia Munn Discusses Sex, Gadgets
We love Olivia Munn around these parts. She’s extremely attractive, sure, but she’s also smart and funny as hell. And I don’t mean that in a “smart for a hot lady” or “funny for a girl.” She’s smart and funny across the entire spectrum of humanity! So, when we saw that Men’s Health has named Munn their 2011 Tech Girl, we knew we had to link over to the interview.
The interview itself intersperses talk of some of the upcoming gadgets to keep an eye on coming up next week, and etiquette when it comes to using these gadgets for sex. Here’s one exchange that caught our eye:
Q: We text and e-mail more than we call. Any etiquette advice for us mobile suitors?
Olivia: Yeah, here’s what all men should know.
1 Always Text Back
Especially if we see you with your phone nonstop. Please hear me: Texting sporadically to keep her chasing you can backfire, hard. Girls can play along at first, but eventually we’ll get anxious–and then we’ll just shut down. Next thing you know, you’re ready to take it to the next level, but she’s gone. Sometimes, boys, you’re so much closer to the edge than you think you are.2 Respect Her Digital Thresholds
If you have a Black-Berry, don’t ask for my BBM handle as soon as we exchange numbers. I don’t want you knowing when I’ve read a message or when I’m typing back. Same thing goes for Gmail. Just because you scored my e-mail doesn’t mean I want your Gchat popping up every time I log on. Even a digital relationship needs time to evolve.3 Sext Last
The most embarrassing text I ever sent? When I sexted a boy too early in the relationship. Silence in return: Cringe-worthy. Good rule of thumb? Go there for real before you text about it.
But enough about that. What would a post about Olivia Munn be without some photos?
