Insta-Read: How To Appropriately Sext
We’ve spent a lot of time on this site discussing how the new forms of social networking media have affected the dating lives of single men. We’ve spoken about the use of Facebook, how to online date, and various other tips in those regards. But rarely do we attack the bit of social technology that most people use on a daily (perhaps hourly) basis. Of course, we mean texting. (Or, if you want to get cutesy, sexting.)
And, honestly, we’re not going to start covering that now. Instead we’re going to point you in the direction of a compelling piece over at AskMen.com regarding the etiquette that goes with sexting. Here’s a short little excerpt:
Photograph for your audience
Men are very visual creatures when it comes to sex. This is why pornography works so well for them. Women, on the other hand, are not as turned on by images. So receiving a picture of your pride and joy is not likely to do it for her. Men are also more likely to fixate on a certain body part than a woman is. Getting a picture of a girl?s rack will get a guy much more turned on than a woman would be looking at just a man?s penis. Women prefer the whole package. A sexy body all together is a turn-on; a solo shot of his wang is not.
Which begs the question: What am I going to do with all of these cock shots of mine now? (Kidding! Just kidding, mom!) In any case, the whole article is worth a look-see — especially in this day and age of new stories of Favre Cock smacking against our face in all directions.
Anyone have any tips the article seemed to miss?
