Master the Vibe Review (part 2)
Back in October I reviewed the first disc of Master the Vibe. I enjoyed the disc and gave it a favorable review. Recently, founder Christian Hudson, sent me another disc to review. I was excited to listen to this second disc because it was produced by well known pick up artist, Stephen Nash (Playboy from “The Game”) Stephen’s book How to Get a Girlfriend is regarded highly in the community, so I was interested in hearing his students in action.
For those of you unfamiliar with Master the Vibe… I will give a brief description. Basically it is a series of monthly audio CDs filled with hidden mic pickups from famous pick up artists. Along with the recorded conversations is commentary explaining what was done, and why it worked.
This disc contained two complete pickups, from beginning to end. The first one was a 25 minute pickup that took place in a New York City bar. The center of this conversation was Nash’s student DJ, along with Christian Hudson who was his wingman. The second pickup was a day time book store pickup by Nash’s other student Joseph, in a great showing of day game.
Both pickups were extremely successful and highlighted different aspects of the game. Instead of talking in depth about the material used as I did in my first review, I am going to talk about who this audio program is good for, and who it isn’t.
Who this program is good for
One of the reasons from the beginning I was interested in Master the Vibe was because it really tackled my weak point, which was keeping a conversation going long enough to build comfort and attraction. My biggest complaint of Neil Strauss’s The Game was that it made it seem too easy. Strauss would write how he used an opinion opener and next thing you knew he was fuck closing her. What happened to all the conversation between opener and close? This program fills in those blanks.
This program is also good for guys who believe everything has to be rehearsed and perfect. These conversations are far from perfect. There are times the PUA stumbles. These recordings do a great job in showing how to keep a conversation going and keep it interesting, while building comfort and attraction. And they do it naturally and unrehearsed.
When I was first learning this I used to beg one of my more successful friends to record his pickups so I could listen to “what he talked about.” Guys who wish they knew what the more successful guys “talked about” will benefit from this program.
Who this program is not good for
Master the Vibe is not really a great program for beginners. While the commentary after the recorded conversation explains the tactics and why it worked, you really need some more understanding of pick up for this to be of use to you. You need to have some knowledge of what negging is, what time constraints are, what are DHVs, and what are IOIs. While the conversations can still be helpful without this knowledge, it is much more meaningful when you see demonstrations of ideas you already understand.
Master the Vibe is also not a good program for guys looking to build their inner game. The program is entirely conversations between skilled pickups artists and women. You are not going to learn any magical confidence tricks.
If you fall into the category of guys who would benefit from this program you can learn more here.
