Your Bears Cutler Jersey In Two Easy Steps

Last week, before Opening Day and before the (horrible) NCAA men’s basketball championship, the biggest news of the week was the Chicago Bears making a trade with the Denver Broncos for Jay Cutler, giving them their first potential franchise quarterback since Sid Luckman, who was behind center from 1940-1948.

And since there’s no such thing as a recession-proof anything, we thought we’d help out some Bears fans who just don’t have the funds to justify plunking down upwards of $60 for their new favorite player’s jersey. Instead, make one yourself with these two easy steps!

All you’ll need are: (a) A jersey of former Bears kicker Kevin Butler, which no doubt any true Bears fan has collecting dust in his closet; (b) a Chicago Bears “C” logo; (c) needle and thread; (d) some duct tape.

Step One: Get that old Kevin Butler jersey out of storage.

Step Two: Make the following alternations, put it on your back, and don’t wash it again until Jay Cutler leads the team to the promised land.
