Five Best April Fools Day Pranks from Yesterday
The Internet was created for April Fools Day. The whole thing is just a hub of pranks, hoaxes, and Nigerian trickeration with a little bit of porn thrown in. So it’s no surprise that people spend many, many hours developing different ways to trick folks come April 1st. Most of them are a complete waste of time (CADIE, Google?) but some of them in the ether of the magical Intertubs aren’t too shabby. In fact, here are five good ones from yesterday:
IE, for those who don’t know, are a collective of improvisers and comics who go around the country performing “live pranks” on people, such as having a whole bunch of people wear blue polo shirts and khakis and walk around a Best Buy, or riding the NY subway without any pants on. But their latest one, in which they try to make the “Best Funeral Ever” for an unsuspecting family, has to be seen to be believed
Or seen to be not believed I guess, since there’s no way IE creator Charlie Todd would sign off on something like this. So, it’s kind of a prank of a prank. A meta-prank, if you will. In other words, genius.
This one set off the “bullshit” alarm immediately, but the track list of the brand new Timbaland-produced NIN album (entitled “Strobe Light”) are enough to justify the prank. Here’s a sample:
“everybody’s doing it (featuring chris martin, jay-z AND bono)”
“even closer (featuring justin timberlake and maynard james keenan”
“still hurts (featuring alicia keys)”
“outro skit”
Even funnier? The fact that Chris Cornell recently did make an album like this, but for real.
Do girls leave you confused as to whether or not they like you?
Let's face it. Girl's don't make it easy for you. She will often send mixed signals leaving you unable to tell if she is being friendly or flirty. If you read her signals wrong you risk rejection and embarrassment. Or worse, you blow it with a girl who wanted to kiss you.
Here is a simple and innocent move that will instantly tell you if you're in the friend zone, or if she's waiting for you to kiss her.
