Sure, we know it?s important to be in shape and be a good a flirt to make a good first impression. But what a woman thinks of you doesn?t just stop there.

There are a few things that you may have glossed over when thinking about what makes you attractive to women, and rest assured, they totally matter.

Your clothes.

I know, this one seems obvious, but it?s even more important than you realize.

According to a study from Match.com, 68% of women are more likely judge men based on their clothes. That basically means that 7 out of 10 girls will make massive assumptions about you, simply by how you?re dressed.

Clothes, it would appear, make the man.

Your Apartment.

Get this, a survey from Rent.com said that 82% of renters?take note of how clean their date’s apartment is. 45% said a clean bathroom was the biggest turn-on, while 37% said a rude roommate could be a dealbreaker.

Time to bust out the Lysol and kick Steve off the couch.

If you?re a nerd.

It?s revenge of the nerds, baby!

In a survey from the tech company Crucial, 84% of women said they prefer to be with men who are savvy with?computers, while only 15% said they prefer men who spend a lot of time at the gym.

How you kiss.

A study said women rated kissing as important.

?Well Duh.? Right?

Ah, but just HOW important?

Check this out. One of the study?s authors Professor Robin Dunbar explained that kissing may help women solve the ?Jane Austen? problem:

?In choosing partners, we have to deal with the ?Jane Austen problem’: How long do you wait for Mr Darcy to come along when you can?t wait forever and there may be lots of women waiting just for him? At what point do you have to compromise for the curate? ?[and] kissing plays a role in assessing a potential partner.?

What this means is that kissing is a definitive factor in women choosing you as a permanent partner. The study suggests that kissing isn?t necessary about raising levels of arousal for women, but is more so a method to help them decide if you?re a suitable partner, whether that be long or short term.

Just don?t practice on your pillow. That?s weird.
