Must-Read: Fix Your Dating Profile With One Move
A friend of ours, awhile back, was on a dating website for about one month before giving up. His ultimate problem with the whole dating thing? He didn’t like how girls were refusing to go out on dates with him. We asked him what the problem was and he couldn’t figure it out. So, the first thing we did was check out his profile. And it hit us immediately. The first thing we looked at was his profile pic, and it was horrible.
Probably the worst pic of him available. It was a terrible resolution, he looked atrocious, the lighting was dark. He kind of looked like a serial killer. So, it didn’t matter what kinds of witticisms he put in his written section, no girl is going to read that when the profile pic is so atrocious. Once he fixed that little problem, things were a lot better. Thing is, some profiles can be saved with just one simple move. And that move, friends, is to get rid of your silly selfies. As the piece goes into:
Put down the iPhone: Selfies are sabotaging your dating profile, according to new stats from the matchmaking website Zoosk.com.
Even though recent research shows that self-portraits now make up 30 percent of all photos among people ages 18 to 24, Zoosk?s analysis revealed that women are less likely to message you when your main image is a selfie.
Unfortunately, that?s not the only pose that?ll hurt your chances with the ladies.
And from there, the post details the other kinds of photos that you’re going to want to rid your profile of or else risk losing a huge number of dates in the future. Because, frankly, that’s the way it goes. So head on over to the above linked post to check out the rest, and then get date-hunting everyone!
