Must-Read: Time to Spank?
Spanking in a sexual way is weird. But also, at the same time, completely awesome. On the one hand, there’s a whole lot of sexuality going on when things start to get a little rough in between the sheets. On the other hand, if it goes wrong or takes a turn, well, things can get weird and uncomfortable really, really, really fast. The key, then, is making sure that this is something that you know how to do. But how can one be an expert at something they’ve never done?
So we’re heading on over to Men’s Health where they have a little piece of intriguing writing about how to pull off the spanking move in the bedroom. Among their tips that they recommend to you spanking novices out there:
BE SAFE:
If you score a green light, hold your horses?and your horsewhip. There’s just a bit more communicating to do first. Sprott advises establishing the scope of activity your partner is up for, deciding who will start out in the dominant role, and then selecting a “safe word” that will halt the action. Simply saying “no” or “stop” or “that hurts” isn’t recommended, since they can be part of the fantasy. Opt for something with zero sexual relevance?such as a place or a type of food. “Sushi” would be a pretty effective buzz-kill, for instance. Now you’re ready.
From there, well, things get a bit tougher and more serious and, well, you’ll have to head on over there in order to get any of those tips. Needless to say, if you don’t know the first thing about spanking, well, then you certainly will by the time that is over. And hey, give it a shot in the bedroom and see if it’s your thing.
