Learn from the Masters: Male Style Icons to Be Inspired By

These four men are more than just celebrities. While they were all thrust into the public eye for their various talents, they are now all acclaimed for their meticulous styling. There?s a lot to learn from these style icons.

David Beckham

Ed Westwick

He may be a good-looking specimen with a brimming bank account, but Beckham has more than that to bring to the table. He exudes style from head to toe, with his carefully styled hair to his Rockport boots.

Beckham is the master of casual fashion. While he scrubs up nicely in a suit, his street style is far more noticeable. Hallmarks of his style include chunky silver watches, solid color beanies, and pairing work style boots with blue jeans.

He has had his fair share of trend-setting hairstyles over the years, from the fauxhauk to his current ?do with short sides and slightly longer hair on top. Although unless you?re lucky enough to have a face like his, don?t emulate the time he shaved his hair.

Kanye West

The cocky rapper is known for his adventurous style, favoring college jackets, garish colors and prints, sneakers (including his own collaboration with Nike, Air Yeezy) and those infamous shutter-lens glasses.
West goes for quality, favoring high-end designer labels. As a result, he always looks edgy, but never looks cheap. While you might take inspiration from his love for Louis Vuitton, don?t copy his endless bragging about the brands he?s wearing.

Sometimes West misses the mark slightly, but he carries himself with such confidence that he gets away with it. Whether you approve of his out-there style or not, one thing you can learn from him is to act like you think you look good.

Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake is living proof that even an awkward, curly haired, boy band member can grow a sense of style. He teaches us to forgive and forget your past fashion crimes (he would know, he?s guilty of wearing double denim) and impress the world with your style evolution. He has well and truly brought Sexy Back with his propensity for wearing skinny ties with everything, from tailored three-piece suits to a casual jeans and leather jacket combo.
Accessories are king for Timberlake. Even when he is wearing a totally plain outfit, he still sets himself apart with careful use of accessories. Fedora hats, layered necklaces, and biker jackets characterize his style.

Ed Westwick

It?s certainly not Ed Westwick?s rosebud face which has girls everywhere swooning over him. It?s his dapper style (although his seductive character on Gossip Girl helps too). Copy his on-screen preppy look with waistcoats, stripy shirts, colorful statement ties, loafers and tartan prints.

Despite his character being dressed by an army of clever stylists, Ed Westwick is quite the fashion icon in his own right. His personal style is shabbier, with printed scarves, thin silver necklaces, and a five o? clock shadow being his accessories of choice.
