Batman Fans Make Action-Packed Film With Action Figures
With all of the hubbub about “The Dark Knight Rises” this summer, we at TSB have been posting a lot of content directly relating to the film. This week, however, we thought it’d be good to give the Batman fans some acknowledgement, especially the overachieving, obsessive ones.
Remember how fun it was to pit your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure against your G.I. Joes and Thundercats? If you want to relive your action figure days without looking like Steve Carell in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” you should check out this new stop-motion animated Batman short.
Using only Batman toys (and some sweet effects), Derek Kwok and Henri Wong of Parabucks co. have created one of the most impressive fan-made films I’ve ever seen. Lots of people have made similar videos using figures and Legos, but this one actually excels in terms of cinematography and special effects. Things might have seemed real when you were playing with your figures back in grade school, but this film really takes action figures to a whole new level.
If you’re hungry for Batman content now that Christopher Nolan’s trilogy is kaput, check out the short. Perhaps it’ll inspire you to pull your old figures out of the closet and shoot your own film. Just don’t let your girlfriend find out.
Do girls leave you confused as to whether or not they like you?
Let's face it. Girl's don't make it easy for you. She will often send mixed signals leaving you unable to tell if she is being friendly or flirty. If you read her signals wrong you risk rejection and embarrassment. Or worse, you blow it with a girl who wanted to kiss you.
Here is a simple and innocent move that will instantly tell you if you're in the friend zone, or if she's waiting for you to kiss her.
