Must-Read: Morning Rituals To Up Your Fashion Game
Before we delve into the post, first we’re going to go through our own morning ritual. We wake up. We stumble out of bed. Brew some coffee. Head right into the bathroom, take a leak (or, if we’ve had a rough night, settle ourselves on the toilet for a bit while catching up with some Words With Friends game), shave (or not, depending), turn on the shower, let it warm up a bit, and jump right in. Get some clothes on, get the coffee, turn on our computer, and start our day.
Now, we have a bit of a unique and fair case in that we don’t need to head off to the office, meaning we don’t really worry too much about what we’re wearing. But that kind of thing puts us in the minority. For most workers out there, they need more than just a standard look-and-smell-things-over-once kind of fashion style to get ahead. But what is the best time to pick out the clothes you’re going to wear? Seeing as we don’t have much experience with this, we thought it best to point you in the direction of the fine folks at AskMen.com, who have a slew of tips for what kind of morning rituals can up your fashion game.
For instance:
No.5 Exfoliate in the shower
Use a facial scrub once a day in the shower to remove dirt and dead skin cells. Even if you use an electric razor, you still need to exfoliate to cleanse your pores and raise the stubble to attention for shaving. Place a thumb print size dollop of scrub cream in your palm and massage slowly onto your face, forehead and neck.
Head on over to the above link for even more morning rituals, and never head into work with two different socks again!
