Must-Read: Things To Do On Valentine’s Day
So here we go again. Sure, if you’re in a long-term healthy relationship you don’t have much to worry about with today being Valentine’s Day and all. You can just sit back on your couch, flip through the TV and laugh at everyone else spending their time and money on the most Hallmark of all holidays. But if you’re in a new relationship or one that is quickly being battered against the rocks that is the hedge maze of being in a couple, it can be a terribly dreaded day. Do you use this opportunity to show your affection? Is that going to scare her off? What is she going to do, and are you going to feel like an asshole if you don’t reciprocate properly?
The whole thing is a giant mine field, which is why today we’re spending time with this article over at AskMen.com about things to do on Valentine’s Day. It has 10 of the top things to do, including this one, our favorite of the bunch:
No.9 Get Physical
No, not that kind of “physical.” With any luck, that?s where your Valentine?s Day date will end up, but you can start things off by getting your heart rates up together doing something fun. Take her out ice skating or cross-country skiing, or spend some time together at an indoor swimming pool. The idea is to enjoy a little activity and get those endorphins flowing to leave you both in loving moods.
So head over there and take notes, gents. No matter how small you may try to make the big day, it’s never as easy as it seems. Good luck, everyone!
