Most guys have anxiety about approaching a woman they don?t know. This is the reason why guys drink too much when they go out.

But the reason for this anxiety usually goes unrealized. It?s not the potential of rejection itself; it?s the fact that other people will see it. I know that when I see a woman on the subway or in a caf?, if I try to approach her, a lot of people will be watching, and this makes me nervous. When the woman is alone, I have no problem. I think most guys are the same. In my case, I?ve developed the ability to operate under pressure, and deal with my nerves effectively. I?ll try to help you do the same with a few key tips.

The number one regret old men have on their death-beds is not approaching the women they really wanted to. This is probably one of the last things you think about before you die: ?I wish I had just talked to her??

Feel that sense of regret, and remind yourself that you only have so much time in this life. Take a breath and get moving!

2. Focus Only on Her

If are willing to go out of your way to meet a woman, it?s because she really takes your breath away. I only go for women that make me feel nervous. That?s because I really want them. It?s that passion that will carry you to success. Fall in love with her, before you even say anything, and walk up with all the warmth and enthusiasm you can muster. Show her that she really turns you on, with your eyes, tone of voice, and body language. Cultivate tunnel vision so that when you talk to a woman, no one else exists.

3. Be Real

The only reason being watched would make you nervous is if you are trying to pull a fast one the girl, and you are worried about failing. If you have the intention to be real, and not fake your personality, you will still feel nerves (as I do), but you will be relaxed enough to handle business. You can even tell her, ?I?m not very good at this kind of thing. My heart is racing right now.? She?ll love that, because it?s sincere, shows you are passionate, and shows that you are able to take action even though you are a little scared. That?s huge, and I?ll tell you why.

4. Courage Over Confidence

Confidence simply means you expect a good result. This is not realistic if you are approaching a woman you don?t know. She could be married, gay, in a bad mood, or just a weird, anti-social person. It?s more impressive, and more successful in the long run, to have courage. When you are courageous, you accept the fact that it could turn out really badly, and you do it anyway, giving it your best.
