So Long Productivity: Old Sierra Games
This might be dating me a little, and the sense of nostalgia that goes along with this sort of thing is half of the point so a lot of you youngsters may not give a shit, but you can now play the old Sierra games on your computer! “King’s Quest”, “Police Quest”, “Leisure Suit Larry” — they’re all here! [via The Awl]
Now sure, video games have advanced throughout the years, with more glorious ways to kill hookers, fly into outer space with various plasma-shooting weapons, and make believe you’re in a band. But nothing really feels quite the same as sneaking into your parents old Tandy-1000 computer when you were 9, bringing up the .exe file for “Leisure Suit Larry”, and getting to the point in the game where he’s in the hot tub with the bosomy Eve:
Anyone remember this? Anyone at all?
In any case, if you’re like I am and want to revisit all of these moments (my personal favorite, by the way, is easily “Police Quest”) head over here and say goodbye to your workday once again.
Do girls leave you confused as to whether or not they like you?
Let's face it. Girl's don't make it easy for you. She will often send mixed signals leaving you unable to tell if she is being friendly or flirty. If you read her signals wrong you risk rejection and embarrassment. Or worse, you blow it with a girl who wanted to kiss you.
Here is a simple and innocent move that will instantly tell you if you're in the friend zone, or if she's waiting for you to kiss her.
