Too long we?ve gone, in this society, treating the blind like second class citizens. Waving our hands in front of their faces to make sure they?re blind, saying something negative about their maternal parent in front of their face and then quickly moving back away from them before they can strike us, and scoffing whenever their cane hits a sidewalk curb.
