So here’s something you don’t see every day: Darth Vader ringing the closing bell of the stock market.

And why don’t you see it? Because, generally speaking, those traders pacing the stock room floor and the CEOs watching every minor up or down tick of the market aren’t too into seeing motherfucking harbingers of doom, even in the guise of a fictional character created by George Lucas. Think about it: To ring out the bell for one of the last days of one of the most tumultuous years of the stock market, someone thought it was a good idea to bring aboard the most iconic personification of evil in the past 30 years. Seems like someone didn’t think this one all the way through.
