Clip Reel: Your Zach Galifianakis Primer
Advance reviews of the new Todd Phillips joint “The Hangover” have been generally positive. And why wouldn’t they be? This is the guy who brought us “Road Trip” and “Old School”, two of the better comedies of the 00s. But the big buzz about the film has been about bearded genius Zach Galifianakis finally getting exposed to the general public.
Galifianakis has been one of my favorite comedians for the past decade, but his sporadic touring schedule means a lot of those in suburbia and the nation’s farmland haven’t been exposed to his comedic exploits. And with appearances in another three movies scheduled to be released this year (“Youth in Revolt”, “Little Fish, Strange Pond”, “Rogue’s Gallery” and “G-Force”) he’s going to be finding his way into the national consciousness sooner rather than later.
