I recently got my hands on a copy of David D’s Cocky Comedy CD set. David Deangelo has always been the guru I’ve related to the most in terms of the style of my pickups…. so it was no surprise that I absolutely loved the CD set.
One of the things I love about David D is that he always gives you further books, movies, and TV programs to use as a model of appropriate behavior.
On this CD set he recommends Triumph the Comic Insult Dog as a terrific example of cocky funny. I’ve always loved Triumph’s skits on Conan… but never really realized he was cocky funny. After hearing David D make this statement I went back and watched a bunch of these videos.
