3 Holiday Movies We Are Excited For

This year’s crop of winter movies leaves a little to be desired. There isn’t an onslaught of great flicks to keep us company in the cold months ahead.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t at least a handful I’m looking froward to. Of course, there is Black Dynamite which could be the sleeper hit of the season… and there are three more movies that I’m personally excited for.

3 Holiday Movies Worth Seeing

1. The Spirt

If this movie is even half as good as the trailer I will be satisfied. If you liked SIn City or 300 you’ll probably like this too. Its got the cool noir cinematography, violence, and babes. Yes, Eva Mendes and Scarlett Johansson prance around in skimpy outfits. Can you ask for more?

2. The Wrestler

This could be Rocky for our generation. Mickey Rourke plays professional wrestler Randy “The Ram” Robinson as he makes his way through the independent circuit, trying to get back in the game for one final showdown with his former rival. Plus you’ve got Marisa Tomei playing his stripper girlfriend. Before the Devil Knows Your Dead proved she’s still sexy as hell… I love Marisa Tomei and can watch her in anything… especially playing a stripper

3. The Brothers Bloom

I haven’t seen a good con man crime film in a long time. The Brothers Bloom is supposed to be the kind of movie that the minute it ends you want to watch the whole thing over again. Think the Usual Suspects. Or something that could have been created by a mix of the Coen Brothers and Wes Anderson. I’m sold!
