The Greatest Compliment a Guy Can Get

Okay, so im with my girlfriend in line at the grocery store. There is an issue of US Weekly or Star or one of those celebrity gossip magazines. On the cover there are a bunch of celebrities in on the beach. The title says “Best and worst beach bodies..”

My girlfriend starts flipping through the magazine and pointing some of them out. Everytime someone is mentioned as worst beach body she pouts and feels bad for them. Then she points out one of the guys under worst beach body, and its Vince Vaughn, looking all smiley and pudgy on the beach. My girlfriend says, “He’s like you, he doesn’t even care.”

Now I know my girl is a Vince fan, as am I, and that she finds him attractive. But its true, it wouldn’t affect Vince one way or another to find out he was listed as worst beach body…. And I have to admit daddy’s belly has gotten a little bigger later, and you know what, I wouldn’t give a shit either if some idiot somewhere made a comment about it.

That’s Vince’s biggest appeal, and why he makes a great role model for the aspiring pick up artiest. He truly is just himself. Have you seen the clothes he wears? He’s wearing a tucked in flannel shirt in half his pics. But you know what, who cares. Thats him. If you like it great, if you don’t fuck off.

I read an artice about Vince where they ask one of his friends what Vince is like with the ladies. Their answer, “Vince has no trouble picking up girls, but he’d just as easily spend the night drinking with his buddies then running off with one.”

A friend of mine out in hollywood said he met Vince at a bar and he was a dick. He stole the guy’s girl. I wouldn’t expect anything less. In fact I’d love my girl even more if she left me for Vince.

So it was nice to hear my girl tell me “He’s like you”
