Learning from “The Thomas Crown Affair”
Thomas Crown (Pierce Brosnan) is an extraordinarily wealthy business man who has become too bored with life and has found a way to bring a bit of a thrill to it by engineering the perfect crime; stealing a painting worth one hundred million dollars from a New York gallery. In comes, Catherine Olds Banning (Rene Russo) who works for the insurers of that painting and her mission is to find the thief and the painting…
There a quite a few things you can learn from Brosnan’s Thomas Crown character. His style is amazingly seductive. He has a calm coolness confidence about him. He never lets his emotions get the best of him. This is important because it displays to women that you are someone that can handle compromising situations with ease.
Crown also has an overly adventurous side to him. This is also a plus. For some reason girls are widly attracted to thrill seekers. Well, the reason is pretty simple. These guys are a hell of a lot of fun to be around. If a girl has a choice to be with a guy who spends his nights watching sports on tv, or a guy who spends his nights participating in, say, karate tournaments, who do you think she’ll choose most of the time.
Crown also possesses alot of interest outside of women. This is another key element. It is extremely attractive to have passion about things in your life that don’t involve women. It makes them compete for you attention.
The other thing you can learn from this is Crown’s interaction with the Rene Russo character. His style of flirting is materful. He plays with her the entire time, continually keeping her guessing. Women love the cat/mouse game. He also teases her alot. He keeps their interactions fun and playful. I’d give examples but I suggest that you watch the movie yourself and pay attention to the little details.
Do girls leave you confused as to whether or not they like you?
Let's face it. Girl's don't make it easy for you. She will often send mixed signals leaving you unable to tell if she is being friendly or flirty. If you read her signals wrong you risk rejection and embarrassment. Or worse, you blow it with a girl who wanted to kiss you.
Here is a simple and innocent move that will instantly tell you if you're in the friend zone, or if she's waiting for you to kiss her.
