Louis CK Spoofs Does a Lincoln Spoof on SNL
Do you think Abraham Lincoln was every caught saying stuff like ?women are nonviolent but they will shit inside of your heart?? Probably not. But that didn?t stop Louis C.K. from dressing up as the 16th president and cracking wise 19th-century style on last weekend?s ?Lincoln? sketch on SNL.
I?m assuming most of you have at least seen an episode or so of the awesome FX show ?Louie.? If so, you?ve got to check out the sketch. It?s basically a Lincolized/Lincolnesque spoof of ?Louie,? right down to the intro. Louis C.K. plays Abraham Lincoln post-Emancipation Proclamation. He?s trying to score some black friends, dealing with asshole former slave owners, etc. It?s like you?d imagine Abraham Lincoln?s life to be in 1865, just a whole lot more curmudgeonly.
?Lincoln? ties into the upcoming Steven Spielberg biopic to be released on November 16. Whether or not you have an interest in that film (I do) or just love Louis C.K.?s awkward-yet-genius comic style, give the video a look-see. I?m sort of wishing there were actual modern-day comedy shows starring historical figures. Perhaps a ?Curb Your Enthusiasm?-like show starring Napoleon?
Do girls leave you confused as to whether or not they like you?
Let's face it. Girl's don't make it easy for you. She will often send mixed signals leaving you unable to tell if she is being friendly or flirty. If you read her signals wrong you risk rejection and embarrassment. Or worse, you blow it with a girl who wanted to kiss you.
Here is a simple and innocent move that will instantly tell you if you're in the friend zone, or if she's waiting for you to kiss her.
