Beer and Videogames in One: The Arkegerator!
Let’s be completely honest here: This is very unnecessary. But so have most of the great developments in mankind.
Did we need electricity? We got along just fine without it before it was introduced, but the invention allowed the world to grow and develop into what it is today. Did we need the Internet? The world worked without it, but with it the world was allowed to grow closer and, ultimately, watch every possible kind of porn there is.
That’s progress.
So, while at first it might seem like combining videogames and a keg of beer into one console is a bit of an overkill, it could very well be the invention that pushes us forward as a society. Luckily for all of us, the folks over at Wired magazine aren’t aware of the word “overkill”, so they went ahead and made one.
Here’s a video summarizing their achievement, which will, one day, stand in the Pantheon of World’s Greatest Achievements, next to two-ply toilet paper and Leisure Suit Larry. Wired, we salute you.
